Moritz Flaschel from Computational Mechanics Group was one of 8 doctoral students at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering who received the ETH Silver Medal for their outstanding doctoral theses.

2023 Stanley Corrsin Award
Congratulations to George Haller for receiving the 2023 Stanley Corrsin Award of the American Physical Society (APS). The award goes to George Haller "for long-lasting contributions to the predictive understanding and mathematical underpinnings of the nonlinear dynamics of fluid flows and Lagrangian coherent structures, and for novel data-driven approaches to reduced order modeling."
