Dr. Flaschel has been selected as a winner of the Dr.-Klaus-Körper-Preis 2024 with his dissertation "Automated discovery of material models in continuum solid mechanics".
Bronze medal from the GreenLabs Initiative for more sustainability
ECM participated in the GreenLab pilot project, which promotes sustainable laboratory practices at ETH and UZH. In the context of the the pilot our lab was able to reduce waste by recycling and to improve the energy balance of our incubators, thus lowering its greenhouse gas footprint. For this commitment we were awarded the bronze medal at the first certification ceremony of the pilot. Let's keep up the good work!
